Investigation of eating disorder during pregnancy and interspirate relationship

Abstract

Aim: This study was conducted to examine the relationship between couples and eating disorders during pregnancy. Method: The study, which was conducted with a descriptive design, included 162 pregnant women aged 18-40 weeks who applied to the gynecology outpatient clinic of a private gynecology hospital in Antalya and agreed to volunteer for the study. "Personal Information Form", "Eating Disorder Examination Scale (EDES)" and "Relationship Satisfaction Scale" were filled in by the pregnant volunteers through face-to-face interviews. Conclusion: 91% of the participants are working pregnant women. The majority of working pregnant women have an education level of high school or above (91.35%). The average gestational age of the participants was 29 weeks. It has been determined that there is a negative significant relationship between the relationship between spouses during pregnancy and the relationship between eating disorders (p=0.001). There is no significant relationship between the week of pregnancy and the relationship satisfaction scale (p>0.05). It was determined that there was no statistically significant relationship between pre-pregnancy body mass index and eating disorders (p>0.05). Results: As a result, it was determined that there was a positive relationship between the relationships of pregnant women with eating disorders and their spouses. When taking detailed anamnesis from pregnant women, the relationship with the partner should be questioned in detail and appropriate support should be provided if a problem is detected.

Amaç: Bu çalışma, gebelikte yeme bozukluğu ile çiftler arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı desende yürütülen çalışmaya, Antalya’da özel bir kadın doğum hastanesinin kadın doğum polikiliniğine başvurup, çalışmaya gönüllü olmayı kabul eden 18-40 haftalık 162 gebe dâhil edilmiştir. Gönüllü gebelere, “Kişisel Bilgi Formu”, “Yeme Bozukluğu İnceleme Ölçeği (YBİÖ)” ve “İlişki Doyum Ölçeği” yüz yüze görüşme ile doldurulmuştur. Bulgular: Katılımcıların %91’ini çalışan gebeler oluşturmaktadır. Çalışan gebelerin çoğunluğu lise ve üstü eğitim düzeyine sahiptir (%91,35). Katılımcıların ortalama gebelik haftası 29’dur. Gebelikte eşler arasındaki ilişki ile yeme bozukluğu arasında ilişki arasında negatif yönde anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir(p=0.001.) Gebelik haftası ile ilişki doyum ölçeği arasında anlamlı ilişki yoktur(p>0.05). Gebelik öncesi beden kitle indeksi ile yeme bozukluğu arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki olmadığı tespit edilmiştir (p>0,05). Sonuç: Sonuç olarak yeme bozukluğu olan gebelerin eşleri ile olan ilişkilerinin arasında pozitif yönlü bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Gebelerden ayrıntılı anamnez alırken partner ile olan ilişkinin detaylı sorgulanması ve sorun görüldüğü taktirde uygun desteklerin sağlanması gerekmektedir.
