<description>Effect of online mindfulness‑based physical exercise program on psychological well‑being and life satisfaction during the Covid‑19 pandemic
Terzioğlu, Zeynep Ayça; Çakır Çelebi, S. Gülfem; Yıldız, Mustafa
The aim of this study was to examine the effectiveness of a mindfulness-based physical exercise program on university students’ psychological well-being and life satisfaction. In the study, a randomized control group pre-test, post-test, and follow-up test design was used. The study group consisted of 60 students (30 in an experimental group and 30 in a control group) continuing their education in different faculties of a foundation university during the Covid-19 pandemic in Turkey. A personal information questionnaire, Psychological Well-Being Scale and Life Satisfaction Scale were used to collect the study data. The Mindfulness-Based Physical Exercise Program was implemented in the experimental group, once a week for 8 sessions. The results suggested significant differences between the psychological well-being and life satisfaction posttest scores of the experimental and control groups in favor of the experimental group. In the sub-dimensions of psychological well-being, significant differences were found between the experimental and control groups in post-test scores of environmental mastery, personal growth, and purpose in life. There was no significant difference between the psychological well-being, positive relationships with others, autonomy, environmental mastery, purpose in life, and self-acceptance subdimensions except personal growth sub-dimensions, and life satisfaction post-test and follow-up test scores of the university students in the experimental group. In the post-test comparisons of two groups, a significant difference was found between total psychological well-being, environmental mastery, personal growth, purpose in life, and self-acceptance, in favor of the experimental group.

<title>Havacılık sektörünün pilot eğitiminde sürdürülebilir rekabete etkisi</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12566/966</link>
<description>Havacılık sektörünün pilot eğitiminde sürdürülebilir rekabete etkisi
Hüseyniklioğlu, Abdullah Oraj
Bu çalışmada; havacılık sektörünün dinamikleri ve öne sürülen çıkarımlarından etkilenmekte olan pilot eğitimi &#13;
veren kurumların, bu değişkenlerden nasıl etkilendikleri ve olası sürdürülebilir rekabetlerini kaybetme sorunu &#13;
incelenmiştir. Çalışmada; havacılık sektörünü şekillendiren standardizasyonun etkisi sonucu, pilotluk mesleği, &#13;
pilot eğitimi veren kurumlar ve pilot istihdamı sağlayan kurumlar arasındaki beklenti ve uyumsuzlukların &#13;
ortaya çıkarılması ve özellikle pilot eğitimi veren üniversite programlarının yeniden konumlandırılması &#13;
amaçlanmıştır. Havacılık endüstrisinin, havayolları sektörünün, pilot pazarının, pilotluğun ve pilot &#13;
eğitimlerinin incelendiği bu çalışmada, belirsiz pilot pazarı, geçersiz katma değer, manipüle edilmiş standartlar, &#13;
kullanıma yönelik olmayan akademik dersler ile müstakil pilot eğitimi veren kurumların; daha kısa zaman, &#13;
daha az maliyet ile üniversitelerin pilotaj programlarına karşı sürdürülebilir rekabet üstünlüğü konusunda daha &#13;
avantajlı olduğu değerlendirilmiştir. Üniversitelerin pilot eğitimlerinde rekabet edebilmek için dört senelik &#13;
pilotaj eğitimi yerine, iki yıllık meslek yüksek okul programına dönüştürülmesinin veya havacılıkla alakalı iki &#13;
yıllık bir programın yanında sürekli eğitim merkezlerinde ilave bir sertifika programı olarak verilmesinin daha &#13;
faydalı olacağı öne sürülmüştür.; In this study, which examines how the institutions providing pilot training are affected by the dynamics and &#13;
arguments of the aviation sector and how these factors reflect on the sustainable competitiveness of the &#13;
institutions, it is evaluated that the university programs that provide pilot training will face the problem of &#13;
losing their sustainable competitive advantage in the future. It is aimed to reposition the university programs &#13;
that provide pilot training, by revealing the expectations and inconsistencies between the piloting profession, &#13;
pilot training institutions and institutions that employ pilots, which are the result of the effect and manipulation &#13;
of standardization, which shapes the aviation industry and is one of the survival strategies. In this study, in &#13;
which the aviation industry, the airline industry, the pilot market, the pilot profession and pilot training are &#13;
examined, uncertain pilot market, invalid added value, manipulated standards, non-use academic courses and &#13;
individual pilot training institutions have been evaluated to be more advantageous in terms of sustainable &#13;
competitive advantage against universities' pilotage programs with shorter time and less cost. In order to &#13;
compete in the pilot training of universities, it would be more beneficial to transform it into a two-year &#13;
vocational school program instead of four-year piloting training or to give it as an additional certificate program &#13;
in continuing education centers besides a two-year program related to aviation.
